Ken Garland

British graphic designer, photographer, writer, and educator born in Southampton, England, Garland graduated from the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, in 1954 and took his first apprenticeship with the trade magazine Furnishings. From 1956 to 1962, Garland took the role of art editor at Design magazine, published by the Council of Industrial Design, working alongside editor Michael Farr.
